Can you have food poisoning without throwing up?

i had food poisoning on monday. Worst day ever. Can even remember what i ate but i threw up about 6 times.

I would tend to agree but this is much worse. I was up a good bit last night with mud butt. Even after drinking some maylox and poped an immodium. Still having aftershocks this morning. I never have stomache problems so this worries me.

Do you regularly wash your hands? Most germs are picked up by lack of personal hygiene rather than poor food prep..

Got food poisoning on New Years Eve from Subway and haven't felt right since. Food just doesn't look appetizing to me anymore. This is getting really old! The only thing I want to eat is junk food like chips and cookies...HA!:disgust:

What's interesting is that you immediately place the blame of (suspected) food poisoning on Taco Bell .

Also I don't recall any cases of food poisoning where the person didn't throw up... I'd think it's a natural reaction to try to rid your body of the crap you put in it.

Last night I woke up at like 330am with severe stomach/gas pains and I had to crap. It was a nightmare basically had to drink 2 bottles of water and wait or try to walk around my room at 330am. I didnt go back to sleep until 420am. I feel like crap today!

Stupid fancy cheeseburgers! Never again!

wow this is weird. i had taco bell about 2 weeks ago on a sunday night, i had food poisoning for about 6 days straight.
mudd butt 3-5x a day everyday for the 6 days (as well as the worst stomache ache i've ever felt in my life ). it's finally gone now.

i had 2 meximelts and the little cup of potatoes cheese and sour cream. it tasted normal at the time i ate it
but i'm afraid of eating taco bell again anytime soon.

You probably just ate too much hot or fire sauce and it's not agreeing with your intestinal linings. That is NOT food poisoning...

Thats true but if he followed the same cleanliness routine he has for 10 or 20 years and all of a sudden gets the icky stomach after eating Taco Bell, I would go with door number two, Bob.

Usually food poisoning causes a lot of vomiting. Contaminated food could also cause a GI infection, and those usually cause diarrhea aka mudbutt in various forms.

No..it depends on what germs and where he came in contact with them.

He could have placed his hands on the counter at Taco Bell seconds after someone that doesnt practice good poo poo hygeine..

Im not saying it couldnt be the food, obviously it could be..Its just that people like to blame what they think is the obvious choice.

Sounds like a lot of you are confusing upset stomach with food poisoning.
