see, the problem is that SEC fans really are SEC fans. they all hate each other but they hate people from other conferences even more. people all over the rest of the country don't do that.

so, trying to paint a UT fan who hates the dallas cowboys with a passion with your broad strokes simply doesn't work.

To be honest, I'm an LSU fan through and through. I think it's pointless to be a conference homer, but I had to try and throw a wrench in your post anyhow. It's not a hate thing at all, I just like to throw a friendly jab everynow and then. I'm one fan that would never go on a killing spree!

EDIT: And of course, being an LSU fan living in new jersey, I got my more than fair share of ribbing these past few weeks at work. Somebody even put a not so funny post it on my framed SI LSU national champs 07 magazine in my cubicle.

Just put a post-it on his cube that says "Rutgers". They are quite easily a joke themselves this year. For extra flair, add "Want some Rice back?"
