You can't possibly actually be of these opinions you've been recently stating on this board. Extremely un-murican of you as well. Where's the NSA when you need em? This is verbal terrorism.

You can get hurt taking walking up the stairs, doesn't mean I'm paying my cable company $40/month for a premium sports package.

You can also go outside and see 2 men beat the tar out of each other for free, so how can you justify potentially paying for MMA/Boxing matches?

You created one of the most unoriginal threads only because the sport's biggest game is about to happen.

Unoriginal because it's true. And most times of the year I don't have to hear about this bulshit.

Listening to people talk about the Super Bowl is like listening to a bunch of grown men gush over American Idol.

What I don't like about football (and sports in general) is nothing really matters in the end. "WE WON THE SUPERBOWL! WE'RE THE CHAMPIONS! Woohoo! Now everyone forget it a few weeks later, then let's start over so everyone becomes equal again."

Yeah I kinda feel that way sometimes...but not really. And especially about the superbowl. Winning the superbowl is a huge life changing deal for every player on the team and it doesn't just go away. And you get a gigantic ring so you can shove it in everyone's face forever too.

So if a guy is tacked and isn't injured, he can get up and keep running with the ball, right? Idiot.

Lol. Keeping trying to make your argument sound reasonable. You're just making yourself look like an even bigger fool.

So you completely refuse to offer a counterpoint to what I said and instead attack my character. You must be a woman.

In boxing, you hit another man with your fists until he is physically unable to continue the match.

Football is a game where you pretend to hurt your opponent. "I was tackled to the ground, so I have to stop playing because those are the rules!"

In boxing, the winner is often determined by a panel of judges, much like figure skating.

if your thread was true, then it wouldn't draw so many viewers. it is literally the highest rated television event in the world, year in and year out. that right there is a fact that it's not boring.

so yeah, your thread is 100% false.

troll thread is working nicely for you though.

When someone gets injured in football, it's an accident. There are even rules against unnecessary roughness! You might as well be on the track team.

yeah, i wonder why they don't just keep going past round 12 until someone gets knocked out and can't get up.

oh yeah, i do know why ... because they follow the rules, much like all other sports.

That's a pretty stupid question. Why pay to go to a museum, see a movie, or play a video game?

There's these things called rules. You have them in your combat sports too.

Heck, didn't UFC started with 2 rules, no biting, no gouging. There's a lot more now.

In boxing, you hit another man with your fists on $50 pay-per-view until it looks like a real fight and then you throw the match because your manager told you to.

FIFY

Boxing has been corrupted for decades now. At least in football I feel the best team won. With boxing I always had a suspicion the guy vegas wanted to win won.

Then I bet you would like college football more. The momentum is carried year-to-year via recruiting and over time programs get so far ahead of other programs it almost becomes a caste system.

Rules make it a sport. But the entire objective of football is to do as little work as possible.

oooh, now i get it. you clearly don't understand football, therefore it is boring.

i bet banging chicks is also boring to you, since you obviously don't understand that either.

now this thread makes sense!

(other than the 100% obvious troll attempt)
