There's much debating and crying about either having Colorado or Nebraska play in the Rose Bowl if Ten should lose, who do you think is most deserving?

I think you miss phrased your question beefjerky. I think you meant to say
?There's much debating and crying about either having Colorado or Nebraska play in the Rose Bowl WHEN Ten should lose?
Colorado. Regardless, it should be Oregon or us. Colorado blew the beginning of the season... but we beat BCS#1 Nebraska and BCS#3 in consecutive weeks. Oregon barely beat Oregon state...
oregon isnt even close to nebraska in the bcs. so even if ten loses, they move up to number 2 in both polls, right now they 3 in boths. nebraska and colorado split 4 and 5. so a ten lose also means that they move up to 3 and/or 4.
current
oregons average is 3
nebraska/colorado average is 4.5
difference of 1.5, yet they both still ahead of the ducks
if tenn loses
oregons average would be 2
nebraska/colorado if they split again would be 3.5
difference of 1.5, it doesn't help
Fresno ended in the top 25 with a Heisman-candidate quarterback David Carr. But I concede, we should've won that game... Regardless OU and CU will in all likelihood play in the Fiesta... lookin forward to that game. ;-)
I think the BCS works for what it was meant to do: rank teams.
There's always going to be speculation about who's better than who since there's no playoff system.
But since there is no playoff system, it's the best thing that you got. Numbers is the way you do it, and computers don't lie.
They need to get rid of those idiotic Bowls and get a real honest to God playoff system. Some arbitrary rating system is no replacement for the teams playing each other.
<< No. 2 Oregon felt it deserved to be in the national title game, and backed up those boasts Tuesday with a dominating 38-16 victory over No. 3 Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl. Joey Harrington talked the loudest, hitting 28 of 42 passes for 350 yards and four touchdowns. Now, the Ducks are hoping for a Nebraska victory in the Rose Bowl for a split national title. >>
You were soooo confident, and now this is your result.....
From Fox Sports:
<< The dazzling Ducks of Oregon made their case for a share of the national championship - and then some. Now as far as they're concerned, it's "Go Nebraska!" In an impressive end to his college career, Joey Harrington threw for 350 yards and four touchdowns as No. 2 Oregon routed No. 3 Colorado 38-16 on Tuesday in the Fiesta Bowl. >>
