Got to work at 11am this morning (my one day per week) and was upset to find that unfortunately all the Athlon 64 systems we sell were no longer in production and the new systems hadnt arrived yet. We sold out of all the Athlon 64's we had left in stock earlier this week apparently.

All we had left was the Athlon A530N display model which had been sitting out for 2-3 months, not too bad, but usually people don't like display models unless their significantly cheaper.

Fairly slow day today, but finally around 4pm a nice guy and his wife came in looking for an athlon 64. My manager made them a sweet deal and out the door they went. Woohoo, got my 64! The last damn one in southwest florida!

Question now; on the sales affadavid, when it asks for the address, is it asking for my address or my store's address? Im assuming store's but im not 100%.

if i understand this correctly, you have to be an employee of one of those companies, and pass the 3 tests...
you then have to (after getting the mobo, cpu, etc) send in a paystub and a manager's signature. That it? Anything else?

Just ordered mines tonight and Im wondering if these are being shipped out of TigerDirect warehouse as I live like 30 miles away from them and was charged tax so hopefully I'll get fast shipping as well.

I called a few times over the past week with various questions and they told me work or home was fine for the address on there. I put my home address on just so you know...

I found this number instead 1-888-727-4968 for product shipping center from the retail access site.

I got an AOL rep when I called too. I just told them I was calling about my AMD EPP order, gave him my order # and he was able to give me the status that it was shipped. Of course, the link gave me that information too. So I asked for the tracking # and he was able to give it to me. My bundle should arrive today!! w00t w00t

well i call that other number to check on my tracking# and the CSR told me the product was being shipped from an Ohio warehouse and not from TigerDirect in Florida. So I asked why was I charged sales tax then if the item is coming from an out of state warehouse but he didn't know so instead of having within 2 day it will be normal ground.

AMD is running the promotion,
TigerDirect seems to be handling the orders,
AOL and TigerDirect are handling the calls,
and some random warehouse in Ohio is shipping the boards....

I called Tigerdirect today to get a tracking number, and asked if the parts come pre assembled. The Tigerdirect csr, not knowing anything about this promotion put me on hold, came back saying that it doesn't come pre assembled (which, from what I know and from others who have recieved their's, comes assembled outta the box). These tigerdirect folks are a bunch of smucks if you ask me. I bet others can vouch this. For those of you who have recieved your shipment, could you pls post some pics.

Only have a few minutes before work, but I thought I would post some pics of what came today. The CPU/motherboard is preassembled and the Far Cry is on a DVD, so its only one disk. It shows up as 3+ GBs in My Computer.
