Both mine and my coworkers did not have product keys with them...didnt bother me too much since i have 17 legit lisenses for XP Pro I got that email today and am waiting to hear back on what they are doing.

BTW what kind of ram are people getting or gonna get for this??? I am think about getting 4 512 mb sticks of crucial pc3200, for a cool 2 gigs. My last three systems have all been a gig, now that I will be hitting the 3 ghz mark I should up my ram a bit, 1 gig pc133, then 1 gig pc800 , then 1 gig pc2700, and now 2 gig of pc3200.

No, i dunno what im going to do with the intel board, im using an ASUS p4p800-d. I wanted some hyper x, and I posted a WTB thread in FS/FT & people responded with like ~$120 for a stick of 3200. The 4000 was $109, so I just went with that.

"Plain jane" crucial 512MB is still $90, so this stuff is pricey any which way.

BTW, the MB/CPU package is now on 1-2 week backorder, so there's really no rush on the emails.

The crucial is still cheaper that any other DECENT ram, if I got the hyper x pc 4000 deal it would be like 100 bucks more because I am looking to get 2 gigs. The 5 % crucial coupon helps a bit but not much. Maybe they will lower the prices and have better coupons in the future.

Also how do you know about the backorder? Have you already got your coupon?

Yes, just in the last few days. I actually got the order in before there was any backorder showing, so the Web site apparently isn't "live" in that respect.

The back order is probably because those Win XP's had no CD keys they have to order new copys from bill gates LOL!
