I got an email and mine has finally shipped. I ordered back on 10-22, so the people ordering around that time should be getting theirs shipped as well. Now I just need to finally get around to getting the memory and case for this damn thing. I was actually glad when they said they were backordered, I couldn't have survived having a 3 GHz CPU sitting on my desk doing nothing for this long.

come on intel!!! i haven't even gotten my code yet, and as mentioned above, the codes expire on the first of december... that's only like 2 and a half weeks... what's going on with the verification process, is there any rhyme and reason to it, or is it a bingo-like method of who gets verified and offered codes first? i would sure like to know why it is that it's taking so long.

i remember last year was a waiting game as well, but for some reason, i don't have as much faith in this new verification method, although that may be because i know that at my store, there are often times where the phone will just ring and ring, and i'm only there so much, and i worry that the one time that intel calls will be when everyone's outside smoking, and the phone is just there ringing and i lose out.... at least last year i knew that the check stub and stuff wouldn't lie, and it was all on intel... i didn't have to worry about my boss being lazy and not answering the phone.

Does this mean anything good!!

ALSO I HAVE A Raedon 9800 PRO Video Card...I have to use non-intel video support on the motherboard....What do I have to do to ensure my video card works with new MOBO?

yea... we were getting that message on and off for the past couple weeks, but now that they are shipping again intel is constantly stating that on their status page.

what do u mean about non-intel video support?

The manual said, I had to install NON-INTEL AGP Drivers (Like VIA, SIS, etc..) before I could install the card, software, etc..

I was OK, since I am currently running a AMD MOBO which uses VIA AGP Drviers.


I assume this INTEL MOBO will have INTEL Based AGP Drivers??? If this is the case, how easy it is to adjust the AGP Drivers during first bootup when building a new system????

hmmm... not quite following u....
where are you reading this? can u write what it says or link to this information?
I would think that it would only need to use the intel drivers and the only other driver you need is for the actual video card.
