Ok everybody,
As I posted earlier my status went back to backordered today. I e-mailed Intel and they sent this in reply:

"Back ordered items are in stock and are shipping out on a first in
first out basis. You will receive an e-mail confirmation with a tracking
number when your order is shipped."

So according to this, even though my status is backordered, they do have stock in and will ship out first come first. I dunno what the deal with the 11/29 guy was, but sounds like they do have stock in and are shipping them. I ordered on the 24th so hopefully mine will be shipped soon.

If anybody ordered theirs on the 24th and it has been shipped, please post!!

At my Best Buy (560) in Brandon, FL, I know personally 3 guys who were shipped 2 bundles of the CPU, Mboard, and win XP. Sending duplicates out is probably the reason that we are all waiting now... I didn't have an hour to read through this exhaustive thread, sorry if this is a repost, but I hope that doesn't push some of you over the edge who have been holding your breath since Oct 8. I'm prayin for a similar error on my behalf..

It looks like a lot of company are turning to substandard service and this includes Intel shop.
Abit is one of them. Their IS7 and IC7 boards have a problem with the microphone and they won't recall or replace. I filed for an advance replacement last Wed and it still not ship out. So what's the point of advance replacement if I still have to wait over a week any way. Their center is less than half a day drive to my apartment. So this to me is unacceptable.

Did They pay for 2 bundles or just get 2 for 1?

Ordered the 24th, received an e-mail today stating that it had been shipped 11/17. Credit card still hasn't been
charged and UPS doesn't recognize the tracking number, but I paid for next day, so I should be getting it on
Tuesday. After all this ordeal, I don't expect it tomorrow, but hoping!!!
