Sounds like a killer deal. My company offers none of these little benefits to entice me to buy a computer; not even an interest free loan. Maybe they just think that I should be able to splice two coke cans together with a bit of wire, the guts of a dead Atari 5200 and a wad of used chewing gum to make my own killer system.

ya, I emailed them and got an obvious pre-written auto response. They basically want us to check back like everyday, and if we dont, we might miss it, then you're sh!t out of luck, b/c supplies are limited. ;confused;

they probably will not roll this out till the 15th or so . that'd be my guess. seems that Windows XP and new stuff came around October of two years ago.

Your the kinda guy that would take cuts inline or eat the last piece of pizza and not offer it to anyone else, are'nt you. When we had that power outage here, there was people cutting in front of people that had waited 2-3 hours for gas and or water. Thats the kinda guy you are. It's not all because of higher wages and ceos wanting that stock option. Retailers loses billions thats right a b not an m, billions of dollars to shoplifting. So they have to make up that money somehow and that comes in the form of higher prices. Same as insurance rates, false insurance claims raises premiums. But you got yours and thats all that matters. But guess what it all comes down to is fraud and thats illegal. I really hope if you get the the stuff from Intel, that you get caught, cause its losers like you trying to get something for nothing that just makes it harder on people that try to do the right thing by the proper methods.

last year the released the challenges 1 at a time, 1 per week(iirc), and once the last one was released and you completed it, you could buy.

Well you wont get in on it dude....If you dont work in the departments specified they will not send it to you. Also the guys from Intel that run these promos read these forums....when i started the thread on the deal last year when the delays started happening I had a rep at Intel call me to give me info so i could post updates etc. They will verify everything....they caught numerous people last year trying to defraud them on the deal so be forwarned.

Cause he's a jerk, just like the hundreds of pushy customers who have to interrupt us employees while helping 5 other customers who do work in computer retail daily. Seriously, those of you who don't work in retail, don't realized 1/100th of how many jackass customers there are that make deals like this a drop in the bucket of compensation we deserve for serving you morons, but never get. I love that companies like intel, and other sites allow employee prices, it almost begins to make up for the ridiculously stupid employee prices we have to pay for stuff, which are often way higher than any deals posted on Anadtech. Thank you intel for a great deal, can't wait to get in on mine.
