I'm getting frustrated also. I have had no word since I applied for the verification. With all the people getting theirs already, I'm worried.

The board doesnt have giga-ethernet? darn..
how bout the audio.. last years board had almost 7 audio jacks
with coaxial and fibert optic out.. looks like this board
only has 3 jacks, mic, linein, line out..
will any of those do 5.1?
Guess its worth it to move up from 533mhz 2.53 to 800mhz 3.06..
Maybe someone will buy last years combo from me..

Lately I have been checking my email about 6-7 times a day... with my fingers crossed each time.... hehe... then I find nothing, so I check it an hour later.... the day will come eventually.
BTW what kind of ram are people getting or gonna get for this??? I am think about getting 4 512 mb sticks of crucial pc3200, for a cool 2 gigs. My last three systems have all been a gig, now that I will be hitting the 3 ghz mark I should up my ram a bit, 1 gig pc133, then 1 gig pc800 , then 1 gig pc2700, and now 2 gig of pc3200.

Are you going to use the Intel board that comes with the kit? I don't see any real reason for me to get better ram with the stock Intel board, and by the time I upgrade I am sure DDR2 will be out. I thought about getting better ram and a different board to overclock, but I am also leaning towards keeping this board and using some plain jane crucial. I thought about picking up that new Abit max board or the new asus 875 w/ csa. I would then use this board with my 2.53 chip from last year and run dual channel pc2700 with the ram I already have. it would be a nice upgrade to my current 2.53 setup.
Decisions.. Decisions... Got to get the email first, then I will make up my mind.

"Plain jane" crucial 512MB is still $90, so this stuff is pricey any which way.
BTW, the MB/CPU package is now on 1-2 week backorder, so there's really no rush on the emails.
