they actually sent me an email that said my package was on backorder, I actually recieved a purchase code, and now that i think about it, I consider myself really lucky, I work at bb and everyone in the pc dept except me and my friend andrew have not receive even the purchase code yet. btw my friend is getting his monday, lucky bastard

Installed everything today and its working perfectly....no problems so far at all. I am using a pack of Corsair XMS TwinX 1GB Pro modules. A matched pair of 512MB DDR400 modules with the LED's on them etc.

I wonder when they will verify my Best Buy. That is odd that they didn't just verify you all at once. It would make sense to sort all the eligible employees by store, then make one verification call. I remember last year they said the materials would be processed in the order that they were received. That was not the case last year as I was one of the first to send it in, and many people who got the codes before me send their material in weeks after me. Thanks for the deal in advance INTEL, I am just curious about your verification process. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.... or Tuesday... or THIS WEEK....

my coworker got called today but they didnt ask for the rest of the us, 2 more at my store. they actualy called the tech bench not the store manager at the best buy I work at hopefully they will call for me this week!

They don't have the correct software for that...

I just got a call from Phillip at Intel....they are still verifying people on the list but are having to do a lot of it by hand since there seem to be a lot of fraudulent entries. It might take the full 4-6 weeks to get everyone verified so dont get discouraged if you have not heard anything just yet.

If you got an email saying that your verification could not be done than hold out as well as they are double checking all of those to make sure.

I hope they will reverify because the email they sent me stated they couldn't make contact and that was because the information they had in their systems was out dated. I updated my info at retailedge and sent the a return email with the correct info, hopefully I'll hear back soon.

Hey guys,

I signed up for the deal to becuase I work at circuit city and I am waiting for my call. I was just wondering what memory you guys think will be the best for this board. I want the fastest timings and a gb of it. I am thinking hyperx by kingston because they are sposed to run at their timings at 2.6v becuase this board does not go up past that. Some memory like giel will run stable only if it has 2.7 volts.

sorry to burst your bubble, friend but it's probably still on backorder, i sent out my order on the 17 plus overnight shipping and still no sign of it.

Confirmation email received tonight, tests finished and submitted around 2pm EST on 10/08/03, still stating back-ordered as of my confirmation of ordering Next day this evening, any word yet on the dealio with the microsoft key's Viper?

Nope i forgot to ask while i had Phil on the line. Email i got from them when i submitted about it says they are working on it so I am gonna wait and see what happens....I personally am not too worried about it since i have 17 other Legit keys I can use if need be

its kind of stupid how they keep saying how bundles are limited.. its not like we control how fast they verify us and send us our code.. by the time they get around to verifying us it could just be out of stock

They are certainly taking their sweet time, a few ppl at my store have been confirmed, though one at a time with a few days in between.
Just from asking around, it doesnt seem they are calling in the order that ppl applied, so where's my call?
