Kingston Hypex

DDR466 PC3700
DDR434 PC3500
DDR400 PC3200
Now if I stay with the CPU and get a new Motherboard, what do you guys reccommend? I am foreign when it comes to INTEL CPUS...I have been using AMDs for the past 5 years...
And if I get a new Motherbaord what type of the ram would you get... I want to run thiis CPU at its max without overclocking.

P4 aren't too picky on timings, they like the core speed much more. tight vs relax timings on the p4 yield a modest gain, but a 5mhz gain in memory gains more.

PrYnCeQT,
Your comment about memory timings and Intel boards made me curious... I am debating between the following choices:
512MB Kit HyperX DDR 400MHz 2-2-2-6-1 $111 (during certain promos)
512MB Kit HyperX DDR 400MHz 2-3-2-6-1 $106
Any advice? It is an easy choice when is is only $5 more, but what about when there is not a promo and it is up to $145 for 2-2-2-6-1??
Thanks,
JJ

ordered on the 24th, shipped on the 18th, arrived on the 19th.
funny thing is i'm in canada, i expected a much longer wait. i didn't get an email from intel til it arrived a few mins ago and checked my inbox.
another funny thing is the package is actually cheaper than they advertised. on my invoice it says $159US + $24 shipping. i paid $199 + $22 shipping. i gotta check my gf cc statement. she stole my airmile points.
also to let u all know, even it says submitted to warehouse and pending and all that crap, it could easily been out the door already. i had mine submitted to warehouse all day yesterday when it was actually getting raped by UPS.
