I love my CRT and I also love my LCD.
I can see where all the feuding is coming from-- both LCDs and CRTs have their ups and downs.
People are saying that LCDs can do just as well as CRTs can with their 8-bit color, 2ms response time, great aspect ratios, DVI, etc, but it's very expensive to get these all in one package.
This deal that the OP has shown us is great because it's a high quality CRT whose picture would match a 500$ LCD. IMO, CRT is for those of us who love our great looking picture while maintaining an affordable price.
LCDs are for two kinds of people: those who want an affordable price and aren't anal about their display, and also for those who are willing to dish out a few hundred bucks for a great-looking big monitor.
