The problem with the M3 will be weight. It's gotten more and more bloated over the years -- the best being the E30 and E36 M3s. The E46 was a pig, and this car will be no different.
Too bad most people just enjoy the power rather the precision that the M-cars USED to offer.
It's why I sold my E46 M3 soon after I bought it ... handled like a turd compared to much cheaper cars, although it was a lot faster in a straight line.
I guess you have to be a 'certain kind' of driver to appreciate handling over power nowadays.

In all honesty, I truly love the RS4 and I?d be hard pushed to make a decision between the two.
