OP: For those in their mid 20s, do these bring back fond memories?

Nope, because my life does not revolve entirely around the TV as its mental slave. And most modern kids cartoons just rot the brain, or what passes for one in some people. And fond memories? You have to be kidding. They aren't even funny when they try to be, and they are just plain stupid the rest of the time.
Also, most modern cartoons mirror the fall of intellectualism and the serious decline of modern education almost completely. As a kid, I preferred to watch adult type TV, not regurgitated animated trash made for semi-retarded minds. But I did like the Star Trek and Planet of the Apes cartoons or some of the older ones made in the 50s and 60s that weren't entirely devoid of any moral values like Ren and Stimpy are. But that's what makes it so funny you say? What does that say about you? Humm?

Wow you sound like loads of fun.

The live action show with the costumed dino people...

My girlfriend actually downloaded the series a couple weeks ago and OMG is it freaking hilarious...its definitely geared toward the adult crowd...a lot of hidden messages and the like, very worth checking out!

Cartoons were so much better back then. Toons now are just completely nonsensical. Too much Japanese influence.

The only Japanese influence is in the art style, not the storyline. Unless youre talking about Gundam, most anime has infinity more interesting storylines. For kids; Pokemon, younger teens; FMA, etc.

I would much rather watch FMA than teen titans.

The only cartoons that will live in infamy are
Transformers
TMNT

The rest are forgettable.

All my faves on the list except for a couple I never heard off. Must have been late 90s. Absolutely loved the Disney ones. Tail Spin, Duck Tails, Darkwing Duck, Chip & Dale's. They used to air them on FOX25 Buffalo weekday mornings.

I feel a bit dirty admitting I watched Captain Planet. Stupid show in hindsight but would probably make millions if it were on TV today. Idiocy ahead of its time. I watched Sailor Moon as well. More of a curio than anything else. My intro to anime sadly. Hey, she was naked when she transformed...

You guys forgot The Hulk, which still is the most faithful of all Marvel Comics' animated adaptions. Matt Frewer of Max Headroom fame was the voice of The Brain in that one.

A lot of them do, and I didn't even watch that much TV. The only one I remember going out of my way to watch was Reboot.

yeah... all the disney cartoons are classics compared to the crap that they air now. i feel sorry for the kids growing up now.

but we also had some pretty corny cartoons while growing up:

You watched cartoons for moral values and for intellectual stimulation(for most cartoons anyways)...
You are so doing it wrong!!!!
