I'm in school and working at my "career" now. School is great because I'm interested in the things I'm doing. Sitting in front of a computer for eight hours doing dull "work" isn't what I consider fun.
Given the chance, I do believe I'd stay in school for the rest of my life.
Hmmm lets see . College life . Eat school eat drink sex . Working life . Eat fret squirm have your results detirmed by clueless worms that dont like you because you tell them to do more/better . Less sex .
College is INFINITELY better imo. I LOVE learning environments. If I could get paid based on the number of classes I take or the number of degrees I earned I would never leave. Work environments usually suck. At 33 I've only ever had 2 jobs I liked going to (out of 20ish), and neither paid enough to put food on the table.
If it were not for classes/exams/homework, then yeah college was fun. But I had a full time, salaried job during college, which was irrelevent to my major. So when I graduated, life was much easier.
If you get a job as an engineer, you pretty much get no exposure to women (same as in major-related courses in college) and have to work your butt off (which you did in college).
College just delayed me from getting my career started sooner. It was necessary, though. I was in a big hurry to start earning money and not spending it on college.
