I'm a bit worried about my wife, she's young but her family has a history of breast cancer. I can only imagine what you're going through because I just have trouble imagining life without my wife. I'm so sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. While I cannot relate to the loss of a spouse, I have lost both parents (My mother less than a month ago) and can somewhat imagine how hard this is for you. You lost the love of your life, and I have lost the only true, 100% unconditional love I will ever know.

There has been a lot of loss this year. 2008 has turned out to be a fairly shitty year for both of us.

If you need someone to talk to, PM me. I'm going through a lot myself right now, but it may help to talk to someone who has had a loss recently.

I am so sorry for you loss. This should be a wake up call for every woman that reads this and every man that has a woman in their life they love. My wife who is in her mid 40's now, refuses to get mammograms because she has small boobs and thinks they are a waste of time. When she gets home today I am going to have her sit down and read this.

I was 14 when my grandmother died of breast cancer due to circumstances like your wife. I now bitch at my mom from time to time to get aggressively checked, she has a higher chance with the MS. My ex-gf also went through cancer treatments when we were together and I think that was the hardest thing I've ever been through with someone. Your in my prayers man, your wife and son too. I can't imagine what you are going through and pray I never have too.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for posting that information though. i never knew that mammogram could come back normal in the type of case you outlined. So if there's ever a doubt, get a sonogram basically?
