I found an old box in my basement that actually has about 40 of my old Transformers from 15 years ago! I have all of the Arialbots, Stunticons, the original Optimus (no trailer though ), Astrotrain (my favorite) and some of the other Tripple Changers, Hot Rod, Cosmos (another favorite...cool flying saucer), Brawn, Prowl, Dirge, Ramjet, and some others. I used to have all of the jets (they rocked!), but I'm not sure what happened to them. Man...these things smell like a musty basement What's a good way to clean them?
Anyway, Hasbro pretty much ruined Transformers right before the movie came out. They released too many new junk characters, removed all of their character development, lowered their manufacturing quality, and pretty much shot themselves in the foot. If they rereleased the original Transformers with their original designs, they'd have a goldmine on their hands! My 7 year old nephew and his friend have been playing with these old toys for over a week now for 3-4 hours a day!
