OMG!!!! The Transformers.com page is really killing it!!!! There's like twelve Megatrons, Grimlocks, Optimus Primes, etc... And none of them are what they should be!!!! WTF!!!! Then there's beast wars, predacons and combiners and none of it makes SENSE!!!

Oh the agony!!!

It's like someone going into your place of worship and pissing all over the place!!!

If they want to make money, why not just forget about all this madness and re-relase the old toys and series again!!!!

NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMERS!

Look at these new ones... totally redesigned, made out of plastic parts. Some of them look totally different now. I still have my massive collection back in the 80's. I totally grew up with them in elementary school.... <sniff, sniff>

I'll never forget all the good times rubbing Optimus Prime over my lithe, nude adolescent body.

<< Remember for a while they had those emblem things you had to rub on to see what side the Transformer was on? It was a little black pad thing and when you rubbed your finger on it you would see either the Decepticon or Autobot emblem? A buddy of mine had a Autobot (don't remeber which one) that had a Decepticon ruboff sticker. I don't remember seeing that ever except for that one time. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

My favorite one was OmegaSupreme. He was a motorized train and rocket that could ride around on a track that pieced together. Then when you transformed him the track became wing type things on his back and the tip of the rocket made this bigass gun type thing...or something like that. Anyway, thanks for the cool memories.

"Autobots, lets roll out" (or something like that)

Haha.... actually it's "Autobots... transform and roll out!" =)

And just for the record... not that I'm a loser or anything....

Hahahahaha....HKS....you are right! It's more than meets the eye. Why you say you are a loser, you should be proud of yourself to have such good memories.

i have a jetfire, i played with it so much that even when i was young i had to get handy with the screwdriver because i had to re-attach the arm so many times. Jetfire was actually a repainted Macross toy, which is why he looks absolutely nothing like jetfire from the cartoon series.

You guys remember uh.. Fortress Maximus? I think that was the largest transformer ever... I felt dwarfed by its box.

These new toys suck. Transformers was my fravorite TV show and I still remember going around to the different stores hunting for a particularly elusive toy. I remember I had a hard time finding Megatron and Prime. Megatron was great - he looked like a gun and felt like a gun. Imagine taking that to school now to play with. I spent more time trying to find a yellow bumblebee than any other toy. They were always red for some stupid reason, so I never got Bumblebbe and just settled with cliffjumper. Those toys were tough, but I still managed to destroy some of them. Smokescreen was my first Transformer and somewhere along the line the roof broke off and got lost. Thinking back on it I wish I did not have so many "fights" when I was playing with them. Jetfire, Megatron, Grimlock, and Omega Supreme are still in pretty good shape, but I have about 10-15 other toys in one shape or another - at least I saved the boxes. Brings back memories.

PS I liked MASK and still have a few toys, also Thundercats rule!

I still have a box of transformers in my parents house. Also a Huge box of GI JOE, tanks, figures, you name it. I could never throw them away b/c its part of me. even though last time I moved houses I had to throw away my He-Man figures and brunch of other toys .
good old memories are coming back to me.

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but if it was I apologize. This is a link for the Unicron statue that is being produced this year Unicron It is being offered as a Botcon exclusive. If you don't know what Botcon is, it's a big TF convention that's being held this year in Fort Wayne, IN. I'll be there for sure! (They also have a number of other exclusives, most are repaints of existing toys though)
