for us scuba divers--recommend me a good wetsuit

title says it all. been looking at a henderson gold core that's 3 mil all over but i don't know how good the brand is. i'm looking for a full-length one that's 3 mil.

I had a Surf East wetsuit. It was a no-name brand I had never heard of, and it was dirt cheap. It lasted me 8 years and it still has no holes in it!
Henderson is based in Millville NJ. I was surfing in Sea Isle City one day, which is not far from Millville. A woman approached me and commented that she like my wet suit and asked where I bought it, when and if I was satisfied with it.
When I finished raving about the price and quality, she told me that Surf East was a defunct line made by Henderson that was targetted towards the local surfers but never really caught on. They were trying to break out of the SCUBA vertical market.

She gave me a brief overview on the build process that Henderson uses. At the time, she told me all the wet suits were hand stitched.

Anyway, you may not have heard of Henderson, but in my experience, they are a very good name and value.

Henderson is pretty good, I use a body glove for teaching in the pool. (one piece, 3/2 mil)

When I bought all of my gear I went to stores and picked out what I wanted and then priced it and found it online. It turns out leisurepro.com had the best prices for what I wanted (and they have pretty darn good service) but there is a website called divebooty.com that has a price search engine. Good luck.
