Forced Unleashed coming to PC

A new Sith Edition of the game being released later this year to include all the downloadable stuff they've released; but in addition this time they will also be supplying PC and MAC versions of the game.

Hmm.. I didn't care for it much on Xbox but I think it was more the controls than anything else. Maybe I'd like it more w/ mouse & keyboard...

While it might seem like good news that the PC is starting to see some more attention from Lucas Arts when all things seemed to be pointing in the other direction, the fact that this is an 'older' game (and a disappointing one at that) kind of nullifies that. Hopefully it isn't a sloppy port, actual attention paid to this release could possibly fix some of the complaints held with the console versions, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The next big Star Wars game launching on the PCs is going to be Bioware's The Old Republic MMO.

That's what they say. The same with Gears of War 2. That will be on the PC at some point in time.

by the time these games actually make it to pc, i would be willing to wager that the salesiracy ratio will be nuts. the people willing to pay have probably forgotten about the game by now...

I really enjoyed the 360 game. Not sure if I enjoyed it enough to buy the PC version even w/ the added gameplay.

I've been waiting for the 360/PS3 version to drop to $20, but now I'll need to look at what was in the downloadables and get the PC version once it's in a crazy GoGamer sale. $50 is way overpriced from everything I've read.

Which leads me to believe sales were not good enough on console and George Lucas wants to purchase another Ferarri. Ergo, we will see a crappy port that costs them basically nothing but will still have enough sales to make a little money.
Lucas Arts will lose ridiculous money over the next 5 years for pissing off the PC crowd.
He will then authorize another crappy game and make millions.

This is way too late for me. Was looking forward to this game before they said the PC version would not be released. I'll probably buy it when it goes into the $5 bin at Big Lots.

The Ultimate Sith Edition presumably contains the expansion pack for the game that the consoles are getting around the same time it's released. Here's a trailer for it.

hmm, i wish raven software would do star wars games again. i loved jedi outcast and jedi academy. not to mention dark forces, dark forces II and its expansion mysteries of the sith by lucasarts.

Well, I'll probably pick it up in the bargain bin. So far every "console-only" game that's "NEVER EVER coming to PC" always ends up on PC. It's just annoying that they lie about it every time and the fact that they make us wait forever to play second-hand ports of outdated games.

That's how the Xbox 360 gets most of its exclusives or timed exclusives.

NOW they release it. I was forced to play it on the Xbox. Fun game, but there was some major fps slow down in a lot of the areas. Also the developers didn't enable vsync in that game so I had to suffer through screen tearing.

Interesting observation, and it's probably true to some degree. Silent Rob made basically the same argument when Bioshock came to the PS3 - anybody worth their weight has already played this game, so it shouldn't come as a shock to anyone when the sales are horrible. The people who get excited about games and know what's coming out months ahead of time probably own at least 1 game console and have already played Force Unleashed.

I'll wait 2 or 3 weeks for the reviews to be up on youtube and metacritic before I buy this game. If it's completely broken and unplayable, someone will have posted about it on those sites. It will probably be as good as JK2 and JK3.

If they dont fudge up the controls, and it slightly resembles Jedi Knight in gameplay and fun, I will buy it.
