the front is fugly

The power on paper is impressive?590 hp at 6500 rpm and 509 lb-ft of torque at 5500. The soul of 427 is the engine; it?s what gives it meaning.

If those numb nuts had put that engine in the freakin' Marauder, we'd already be enjoying "what?s right with America". Of course it wouldn't fit, 'cause the GD thing's too forkin' small. :disgust:

They did shoehorn the 6.8 V10 into the Crown Vic (prototype CHP cars) but I don't know how fast they are. If they dropped the SC'ed 4.6 from the Cobra - man alive that thing would haul :Q

Ya gotta have some cubic inches in a car that size. Who wants some kind of substitute for cubic inches when we already have the real thing?

Even under the hood of the Crown Vic, with the 4.6L, you can barely get at the engine. It has a reduced size oil filter due to the cramped space. A decent size engine under the hood would be impossible to work on.

The back seat in that car has poor legroom when the front seats are pushed back. Front seats are only a little better. I hope to hell the next generation is a good bit bigger... and it likely will be!

Looks like they're taking a page out of Chryslers book, the lines remind me of the 300C, and the high beltline of the SRT-8 Concept

Woah woah woah - hold on a second - it's a 427 V10!?!? What a disappointment, I thought they were bringing back the 427 as a V8....

You try designing a front end that matches the rest of the styling.

Yes, a body on frame, live axle floatmobile with a big engine is what's right with America .

Take a look at the Ford 427 concept and ask yourself whether this can be considered the ultimate tuner car. Though it is a clean sheet of computer drafting screen attached to a thick corporate wallet and a bigmuthamotor for a sound so incredibly seductive it makes your legs quake, there is more to 427 than that. Underneath its massive, hydraulically actuated hood, saturated in its every slab-sided molecule, lies the essence of Detroit Big Iron, tuned and polished to a stark cultural glow. If this doesn?t represent an expression of what?s right with America, then little does...
SUCK IT!

I think the exterior looks great, and the engine and engine compartment look quite impressive. I am not too turned on with the interior, though. However the interior does look like it woud not go to production that way but more for demos and shows.

No, that is not small..... it just reveals poor engineering
