If you negotiated well, I'm sure your deal was as good as the 'employee discount.' The employee discount promotion benefits people who aren't good bargainers: Flat-rate pricing for everyone!

also, please do note that the new mustang is excluded from this deal

Mustang is ford...of course it's excluded from GENERAL MOTOR'S deal.
Are you that stupid? :Q
Hold your fire! What ntdz said is 100% TRUE. Foolish, but true

I hope you knew that the vehicle you bought has the highest chance of a rollover. And don't blame the Firestones.

My carpool buddy who was worried about buying a used car or a domestic car is now seriously thinking.... about a Focus.... originally she was thinking about a corolla or a civic.

if enough people think this way, the imports do have to worry.

Japanese pickups are for America hating faggots. Move to Japan and eat some rice.

Ah Detriot.

You must be one of the 25,000 that GM is laying off. That would explain some of the animosity and hatred.

I here there's plenty of hiring at US plants . . . that make Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans . . .

toyota and honda make great cars and have very loyal customers...I would be surprised if they do the same type of campaign....but they will react to low sales in some way(if that happens), gotta sell your product....right?

im thinking about a really good gas milage machine like a corolla or civic or a hybrid

so....i hope they DO do the same as GM & Ford

True, they're hiring ... at about 1/2 the wage (or less). And normally you must first hire on as a temp, then suffer under their system for a while before you might get hired full time.

And FYI, US auto workers don't hate the Toyotas and Hondas because they make good products, they hate these companies because their countries do not practice unhindered free trade ! It's no wonder we have such huge trade imbalances, considering the tariffs and taxes that are lobbed upon US autos.

Thats because Mustangs are selling like hotcakes. They literally can not produce enough.

Amen to that. Japan is using the U.S. as it's economic imperialistic host.

Not only this but U.S. plant workers for Japanese auto-makers are not unionized. I'm not saying that unionization is a good thing, but for American auto makers to have to put up with the UAW's crap and for Japanese auto makers to completely ignore it is unfair. Japanese auto makers would be much less profitable (like american auto makers) if they had to deal with unionized workers.

Get the F150 with the 5.4 and I promise you wont regret it.

To respond about the probability of rollovers......who cares......do you know what the odds are that youll roll a vehicle over.....pretty close to the same that your going to roll you home over. More than likely you will have a collision with soneone that doesnt send the vehicle tumbling over and over and then which one would you rather be in....the explorer or the kia?

On the pricing issue.....Studies done showed that the average sale price after the employee discount pricing for GM was higher than before because customer negotiated less. So remmeber you can still negotiate with this going on.
