Took longer than I expected and I ended up with Pirelli P-Zeros instead of Pilot Super Sports because of major availability issues in the sizes I wanted but:

295/30/19 and 355/30/19 (rears are OEM Gen V sizing, fronts are OEM Gen V width but on a 19" wheel).

Still working on getting the speedometer working properly, the yellowbox doesn't seem to be getting a speed signal even though the speedometer works when bypassed and the yellowbox test frequencies work fine.

Why do those side skirts look like they're a different shade of color from the rest of the car?

 Nice wheels. Love the flat black.

I've noticed that before, I'm not sure what the story is. These cars are famous for shit paint. Or they may have been resprayed at some point as they are also famous for burning up the paint on the sills. Who knows. At some point I may get them redone now that I have high flow cats in it (lower sill temperatures now). I agree they do not match perfectly particularly viewed in bright sunlight.

And yes, this is an RT/10.

Nice. What was the weight of the wheels? I'm curious how the custom Forgestars compared the the forged 1-piece CCWs, since they are half the price.

Great wheels, are they actually forged?

Depends on how you feel abuot rotary forging I guess. I tend to lean towards no, they're not forged. But neither were the factory wheels so...

I paid $1100 shipped for the set though so I'm not complaining. Factory Gen 2 tire sizes are getting hard to find, and PS2s are expensive compared to newer options like Super Sports. This gets me options, and as a side benefit happens to be a pretty decent looking wheel. I'm not generally big on cosmetic modifications but I do like the F14, it just looks good on so many different cars as evidenced by this thread.

Calling them "forged" is actually a loose term since there are different grades of forged wheels, but to answer your question, they're actually cast wheels made with flow forming forged techniques. People can argue this for days but it shows in the pricing as they're around 2k for the set.

Typical mid-grade forge like rays/adv/blk/bbs/etc go for 4-5k a set, while top grade forge are the ones you see in competitive racing.

I recently bought a pair of forged Marchesini wheels for my Multistrada. Dropped about 5lbs of rotating weight in the process and they look great on my bike. I also had a set of new Michelin Pilot Power 3s mounted. This is a more sport oriented tire and so far I'm very happy with the upgrade.

To buy these wheels from Ducati you'd have to shell out more than $3000 for the pair. I picked them up for less than half that from a guy who bought BST carbon fiber wheels for his Pikes Peak Multistrada and just wanted these wheels gone. He started out at $2200 but I got him to drop the price down to $1500 for the pair.

^^ are they aluminum or magnesium? Love them red accents.

Aluminum.

These are very similar to the wheels they put on the 1299 Panigale S.

Might be the same wheels but I'm not sure. The Multistrada 1200 has a 190 rear tire and I'm pretty sure the Panigale uses a 200 rear but the rim size is the same.
