The trick is to make it really special. This year I intend to buy mom the A64 eMachine I have been looking at. She really needs a new computer.

(Plus, if I dont do it soon, Gateway will probably run eMachines right into the ground.)

I never forgot my mothers birthday, but I did forget mother's day once. I was in trouble for a quite a while. Later I got her some flowers and and basically said I'm sorry, I'm an ass.

Happened to me on the 9th of this month....but I never celebrate her birthday on 7-9. She immigrated here and in the process of becoming a citizen they didnt know if her birthday was 9-7 or 7-9 since different countries order month and date differently. As a result the USA picked 7-9, but my choice was 9-7. Thats my excuse
