Forgotten Google accounts

Just want to be clear on intent with creating this topic, I know I'm walking a thin line when it comes to this particular topic. The shop I work in is located in area with a fairly high number of elderly people, who usually have had a relative get them some kind of tablet to browse Facebook. So my intent is to help the people coming into my shop

Does anyone have a work around when it comes to factory reset tablets and users who can't remember what their account was? The recovery process I've come across on these devices (usually Samsung galaxy tablets) doesn't provide any hints as to what the user was last logged in with.

Is there away to contact Google and supply the SN or IMEI to get some sort of hint as to what that account may have been?
As much as I don't like ipad, I will admit it is unbelievably handy they at least give you a hint as to what the email address was. It seems pretty asinine if there is no method to recover a forgotten google account.

I have a motorola and in settings - user accounts it shows my account email. Surely they or their relative knows or wrote down the email account they signed up with to reset the password.

I've been dealing with this crap on my mom's new apple. The people who sell her her phones are bad about creating quick accounts and not giving her the account info or not putting that info in a safe place. This especially sucks since it's her first iphone and I don't know jack about apple devices.

Are you trying to reset the tablet as new or with the user data intact?
The only accounts that are going to have saved the user data are a google account or (to a lesser extent) a samsung account.
I suspect that if the user isnt that tech savvy enough to remember their account name then they probably haven't set it up to back up a lot of data anyway.

From what I've seen with these users their relatives are setting up quick accounts and then the end user doesn't every end up using that account so after so long the account goes inactive.
I'm not worried about getting their data, really not my responsibility anyways, I'm more concerned about getting their devices back up and going.
One I have at the moment in shop is a tablet that was factory reset and is looking for the user to login with the original user account, but the email account he used is old, no longer in use, and he doesn't remember what it was.
Appreciate your help so far, I've asked about this before on other forums and the thread got locked right away and the mod claiming discussion about trying to get around the FRP was just going to help people with stolen ones. But for every good reason to have a lock, there is an equally good reason to know away around that lock.
