Forums Really slow today

the forums have been extremly slow for me today is there any info that might help you figure out why that I can provide if so tell me and I will see what I can do to get it for you

do this, open a dos promt (dos window if you didn't know), then type:
tracert www.anandtech.com

if you have ping times that over 500ms post the tracert here, if you get a * that means they have timed out, and you should post them here.

I get 93ms average and the forums are still pretty slow to me.

I have been getting the following a lot lately:

I'm almost positive the above is not a problem on my end.

I don't mean to complain. I'm not paying to use these forums or anything. I appreciate them being here in the first place. However, I think a lot of us here are the type that like having the fastest possible.

narzy, from your traceroute it looks like your side is having some problems. I just wanted to point out that I think anandtech forums has been having some problems too, at least for me.

Yep the servers have been entirely too busy. Next weekend we are doing some major major upgrades to add capacity. Funny we just added another server . Well, not to worry anand and myself are on this issue and will do everything we can to upgrade capacity to disolve this problem. Thanks for your understanding and patience

Thanks Zuni. I'm glad to here you guys are working on it. I'm sure you guys are both glad anandtech is growing but at the same time it sounds like it is keeping you guys busy. Review sites are always on a tight budget too from what it seems.
