Nothing in particular I want. Just something to race tonight and I'll gift it back afterwards.

Thanks!

Sorry I didn't live up to that Queasy. I checked the forums right before I left work and when I got home I found out that A) my wife wasn't home (with her laptop) and B) My desktop is reeeeeeeeeeally screwed up, couldn't get to the internet to check and see if you needed a car. Sorry dude.

Good racing tonight. I couldn't do the earlier part of it but I had a really good reason. We've had relatives and such running around our apartment for almost a week and my wife got home around 7:30 and it's literally the first time we've had to relax since last...Wednesday.

So, what are we doing next week?? All Americans?

Man, I thought I had quite a bit of experience in the R1s that would help me. That sure didn't show through in most of the races. The best run I had was 3rd place on the Ring.

Again, I'll have to relish our C&M victories instead. Good job AJ and Blortov. I didn't get to watch the replay, yet, what exactly happened in the last turn of the last race? From my perspective, I thought the race should have been over so when I saw three of you sideways right before the finish line I couldn't believe my luck.

About a minute before that I think I saw Blort take off in reverse, so I'll assume that was his handywork?

Great offense was taken to my presence in first I was coming around the last corner and was about 250 yards ahead of Ty, I think. He hit me, but didn't completely spin me and I was able to keep going. I'm not sure if he caught me in the end or if it was Blortov (coming around the other way? I didn't catch that) but I got hit a good 3 or 4 times within sight of the finish line. Waldo tried but I couldn't stop spinning long enough to cross. That's what I remember, anyway. I don't know that I saved a replay of that race so if you take the time to analyze it, I'd love to know exactly what happened.

The R1s don't do anything for me. I feel completely detached when driving them. It takes so much focus to drive them that it kinda sucked the fun out of Forza night for me. Let's go back to simpler times when we could chat it up going down a straight away.

Does this call for a C-class week? I'd be game, but I don't know if you guys want to slow it down that much.

Sorry I missed last night fellas hope everyone had a good time.

My suggestion for cars for the next 2 weeks would be to go with the last voting order. Looking back this would mean that next week is Rotary engine night (RX-7/8) -- any others??

and then the following week would be any S Class American car.

Does that work for everyone??

I completely agree, Waldo. The R1s are fun in that they're blazingly fast, challenging, and such, but they take so much effort to drive well that it doesn't leave much brainpower for having a good time while racing, which is a good bit of the fun. I enjoy racing with you guys and while last night was fun, previous weeks have been more enjoyable overall.

Personally, I think either A or B is a good mix of speed and ease of use.

I'm good with either rotary or Americans this week. We should decide today, though, so we've got the weekend to work on cars.

Well there you go.

BTW can anyone list all the Rotary Engine car choices we have in Forza 2??

I seem to be able to find the following .... (based on what little I know about them)

D-Class:
1990 Savanna RX-7

C-Class:
2004 RX-8 Mazdaspeed
1997 RX-7

B-Class:
1990 AB Flug RX-7
1995 INGS RX-7
2002 RX-7 Spirit R Type-A

A-Class:
1995 RE-Amemiya RX-7

Are there any others I missed??

Greg

I nailed you and spun myself out and you kept going in a straight line. I think someone else caught you. Then I caught back up and hit ya again. And finally I got behind you while you were trying to back it across the finish and kept ramming you the other way.

I gotta say, last night had some of the biggest hits in C&M I'd seen yet, I SO wish I'd saved the replay! I can think of several people who went airborn.

On another note, I tried making my Bentley Cat car...with every upgrade and no weight reduction it's only an "A" class car. Tops out at 208 but I dunno if it's gonna get the job done, sad because it currently weighs like 5320 lbs (added bigger rims, etc). Hrm, I need another heavy car.

Hahaha, you definitely got shafted on that last turn, I watched the replay: here is how the events unfolded:

I was over 2000m off of the first place mouse, so I figured it might be faster to turn around and go in reverse to get him. I see Skinny coming around the last turn with Tyreal (I think) coming up on him fast, he bumps skinny, but is still a bit in control; I then proceed to have a head on collision with skinny at 217 mph. Tyreal and I then proceed to continue bashing skinny into the wall and preventing him from moving. CK catches up and wins by a hair.

High five to Tyreal for owning the crap out of skinny!

Im still having mixed feelings about teaming up with CK... I feel dirty.

That wasn't the worst beating we had...I don't remember who it was but there was one mouse that 3 of us ganged up on at the end of the front straight, we kept him from moving for probably 30 seconds (of course, that meant that all the other mice got WAY ahead ) That little beatdown on OSJ was fantastic as well though.

High five returned Mr. 'Tov!

And I'm with you, teaming up with CK is like getting too tipsy and accidentally going to a gay bar (which thankfully I've never done).

OSJ,

I leave you alone for one week and you let 2 guys kick the crap out of you??

Sorry I wasn't there to save ya buddy ... I was there in spirit though. I really would have preferred to have been racing last night vs. sick in bed. Hopefully next week I will be over this mess and can race.

Haha, no sweat. I got thoroughly owned. It was kind of funny. Well-coordinated, for sure. Waldo tried but it was 2v2 and we were just outgunned.

Yea, that was me... I remember getting slammed mercilessly and wondering if AJ could find a way to fend off three cats at once. Then he mentioned that we might have a target on us. Of course, I had to team up with Blort later in the race when Spidey and AJ each dropped.

But when you team with CK to go to this hypothetical gay bar, you win the C&M race! Apparently Blortov thinks it's worth it.

So what are we running? Need to get a car setup. The 97 RX-7 bumped to A850 might be nice? Or possible the 2004?

Rotary engine (Mazda RX-series) A-class. Ran a few laps with OSJ last night but was unsatisfied with my car only going 200 down Road Atlanta straight.

I think I can hit 220. Going to try tonight hopefully.

Hahaha, I just got my million. I joined some random race, started in 6th of 7. Worked my way up to 2nd. Last lap, a lapped, damaged car has an off and is coming back on the track and drives right into the guy in first, who's maybe 50-75 yards ahead of me. About three turns from the end of the race, I slide into first for the win. Sweetness!
