I've got one of each that I've upgraded and tuned up but decided against using this week. I could send you one of those if you want, or if you'd rather try to earn your own. I'm not sure what they cost - or what region you started in - but they might be a tad pricey to start, especially upgraded to A850. You've probably already posted your gamertag in this thread but if not, post it up here and I'll send you one of those two when I get home.Originally posted by: holden j caufield
I'm probably in but I just started and suck. So I should try and get enough credits for an rx-8 or rx-7 right? And what track are we running and what settings?

Thanks GT is JEDISURFER1. Only reason I ask which track we are running is to get some practice so I don't run into people or cause a pileup and I'm not sure about multiplayer but in arcade I've only got 2 tracks open to me and the rest are locked, but I guess MP has a default set of tracks open to everyone.
As blowfish (GCS) said, you should be able to work any tracks ahead of time. If you wanted to focus on a couple all-around tracks, you might try Laguna Seca and Maple Valley. Personally, I like Road Atlanta a lot, too.Originally posted by: holden j caufield

Is that on the xbox side and if so what are you using at the modem side?
Thanks.
Yeah, I've got the WRT54GL out in my living room with a short cat5 running to my 360. In my computer room, I have my cable modem and a D-Link DGL-4300 router just doing its normal broadcast. If you have a router that's running DD-WRT, it's pretty easy to configure it to run in client bridge mode, which means it basically just takes my existing wireless network (which was setup and running long beforehand and didn't have to be modified to integrate the DD-WRT router) signal and lets me hitch on to that with a cat5. It works well. All my computers and my 360 are on the same subnet so it makes it extremely easy to watch videos or listen to music stored out on my fileserver (I'm using TVersity for this and it's also quite easy to set up).Originally posted by: hopeless
