btw, if you guys remember my last car pick was the lotus with a sub-280hp rule or something like that. It only had 270ish. Was the same car I used from that night. The acceleration was fantastic though. I also didn't have any front aero.

Yeah I'd be interested to hear what he had done to that ride. He pulled me hard on the straights, in what looked like an M3 GTR.

racing slicks, full chassis upgrades and full downforce

On Wednesday I fired up Forza and had barely any credits and this M3 that you win so I put a paint job and calculator tune on it and went with it. The Warsteiner logos were bought.

I was wondering have you guys ever done a night of cars built to spec (certain car with specific list of parts?)

I recently had to delete my Forza install to watch a movie from Zune. IIRC, it was around 9.1GB.

Yeah, it's just shy of 10GBs to install everything but I'm not sure how big the 2nd disc part of that is.

Those are with all the other files also. If you go into the folder there is 1 file that is just the install for the game. I had it installed then deleted just that 1 file to make some room and now I can't remember what it's size was. I've got a few smaller thumb drives and was thinking of installing to one of them. Trying to see if they are big enough to at least have the main game installed on one of them.

Anyone know if you can have the dlc, ie the extra car/track on a thumb drive but keep save game data on the hard drive?

The 20g HD is a real pain at times. If I ever come across the 250g in a local store I don't know if I'll be able to pass it up.

You need a 16GB flash drive to store the Forza 3 files. 8GB won't fit even part of it.

You could always just get a Western Digital 250GB 2.5-inch drive and flash it. But the 250GB official drive isn't too expensive, considering. In fact, I think there is a retailer selling individually boxed drives from overseas models that are legit for cheaper than the official U.S. solution from MS.

Typically you can only pull data from one drive. I've got a 60GB HDD and 256MB of internal memory and whenever I fire up a game it makes me select which drive I wasnt to pull everything off of an save on.

Check around on the FS forums, there was a guy selling an official 120GB HDD last week or so for a good price. I wouldn't risk going with an aftermarket flashed drive.

120GB should be plenty big for all you need. I'm on a 60GB and have maybe 5 games installed along with tons of XBLA games/DLC and still have 10GB's left.

Loaded up FM2 to write down the specs for a car that I liked that will work for this week. There are quite a few differences in upgrade choices for it between the two games, to the point that I can't completely copy it over. Now I just need to find the time to finish it up before wed.
