Yeah, I was REALLY intrigued by the track walkthrough. But the directions were vague and the lack of pictures made it worthless. Clear instructions broken out into small chunks with labelled photos to illustrate the line, braking & accelerating are a must. At least a map overview with turns labelled.

The last word was Mini night, but he wanted to do some checking for what class and any possible restrictions.

Stick with A Class minis for next week.

I know B may be a better choice but it seems B class is all we run lately so I thought I would change things up a bit.

So there you have it.

Well, I just spent all of my credits working on a Mini Coupe and it looks like max horsepower is only 397 (330TQ), so I guess no need for a HP limit!

May or may not be there on Wednesday. Red Dead Redemption comes out tomorrow and I'll probably want to play it but I don't want to break off the FM3 tradition...I'm so torn!

Yeah I've been too damn busy to xbox lately. I finally get my 97 Legacy wagon R&R'd for my fiancee to drive (rewire headlights, fluid changes, cleaning), then the alternator on her 2000 Nissan that we're going to sell decides to start making noises like a damn RC car. I started on my overdue 60K maintenance on my Legacy GT on Sunday and it took most of the day just to get the damn spark plugs out. Effing flat engine & driver's rear spark plug...

While I was under the car I found my CV axle boot is torn and spewing grease, the clutch is on its way out and my Bridgestone RE-01R's are about worn out too. I'm going to do the alternator and axle this week/weekend, and likely the clutch the weekend after. Oh and I still need to change the coolant and brake fluid in my Legacy GT.

In Forza related news - how is everyone coming along with their Mini's? My Coupe is running strong, but I can't kick this lift off oversteer. It's the damndest thing - none of my other FF cars have this. I've softened up the rear some already, maybe I need to stiffen up the front a bit to prevent weight transferring as much up front on braking and soften the rear some more to be more compliant? I dunno, I'm at a bit of a loss.

I have nothing yet. Need to find time to get my car and set it up - yeah I know I suck.

I'll make a car if I can but I'm thinking I'll probably skip out in favor of RDR tomorrow...we'll see though.

I'm in the same boat. Was going to try to get one together last Sunday but had things around the house to get knocked out and ran out of time.

Yeah I usually run 30% accel/0% decel on FF and don't mess with it. Diffs are one area that I don't mess with in tuning. Interesting

Hopeless - I don't think you really need more than one car. Maybe more than one tune for the car, depending on the track. But I bought both the coupe & the D-class Mini and they seemed to have the same upgrade options. I didn't figure there was much difference in the two, but I didn't bother spending the coin to upgrade the regular D-class Mini when the coupe started out slightly better.

Incidentally it happens to be one of the best tuning tools. It changes the attitude of a car drastically. Especially on AWD cars. Most people leave it alone, I love it
