race next week? i was playing ME2 last night cuz i didnt think anyone will show up...

Great racing last night guys, glad to have Lotheron and his crew out there. Some good, tight racing!

Yeah I'm glad we ended up with 5. My roomate likes to race he just hasn't played racing games online before, even though he's been racing since GT1. He's waiting on GT5 like many, I told him Forza3 is at least 75% of the game GT5 is and it's available now.

It goes without saying he's having a blast.

sick of hearing how "epic" GT is.. news flash it hasnt been "epic" since PS2 was king..

Forza3 is 200% the game GT is.. why.. because it's not vapor ware..
BTW the driving models in the GT5 demo sucked ass..

If thats the trash that they are passing off as realistic driving models over at GT I'll be sticking with Forza.

I don't feel that strongly about it, but I do agree that the physics in GT5 demos have been terrible thus far. In forza you can have just as much fun driving a 100hp turd as you can a 400hp supercar.

Yeah I'm not saying it's epic. I've been having fun with non vaporware for a while now and no intention of picking it up

With the current state sim racing games have made it to, I really don’t see any genre redefining possibilities to be had just refinements / incremental improvements.

Here's a fun one: the premiere 'Ring "taxi driver" is flogging a GT3 RS (unknown if it is a "rental" or the customer's car) and executes a most excellent save to prevent the ass-engined Porsche from swapping ends.
