Forza 3 game night - part 2

This is kind of off topic to game night and I don't mean to derail the thread, but since there aren't any other Forza 3 threads about this topic figured I'd ask this here.

Has anyone here managed to finish the entire Forza 3 game? I've played on and off for the last year since I got a 360, with a large chunk of about 4 months that I didn't play at all and have raced 250+ races for about 25% completion rate just through doing mostly career mode only. While this seemed like a lot to me, I looked at the event list the other night and it make it look like I'd barely done anything. I haven't resorted to hiring drivers for even one race because I don't see the fun in that, but is that the trick to completing the game?

I'm probably somewhere around 25% too, after playing for a year. I'm sure some people have finished it, it just takes a long time. probably well over 100 hours

i ordered one of the new fanatec wheels...i'm pretty excited

definitely down to race. if no one else chooses anything i'll say...a600 italian exotics, no engine/drivetrain swaps or aspiration changes.

Finally got Forza 3 after forever. And only because I got it free with the new Xbox. Starting off is so boring... I might get around to joining up on these race nights when I get some cars decent enough to race with. This Citrogen C4 they started me off with isn't very fast. >_>

I made it 2 1/2 years but over time interest died off. I almost played it yesterday...but didn't.

Sucks interest died, as I just recently got Forza 3. I was holding out for Forza 4, but I got it free with the new Xbox S model. Maybe I'll pick up a racing wheel.

I'd still be up for it but it's just no fun when it's 2 or 3 guys racing, we used to have so many people trying to race that we had to rotate in and out. Ahh those were the days...
