Found a live lizard in my server.

I don't worry about finding a lizard in my case... that wouldn't bother me much. I really would rather not find a nice big Carolina Wolf Spider staring back at me though. :Q
Damn I hate those hairy fanged things... harmless or not. They're big. They're hairy. And they have more than 4 legs. They need to stay outside.

weird but not unheard of...this place where i was doing a summer internship had a mouse crawl into a server. the mouse crapped on the motherboard, chewed up wires, etc & killed a $2000 computer! i think the mouse got zapped because it smelled really nasty!

I once lost something from in my case, no living stuff though. I moved my machine from my room to my car, my car to my friends house, and my NIC had disapeared. We searched EVERYWHERE we had gone, and it was just missing. It was screwed in too. We still to this day have no idea where the hell it went.

Nothing alive though, unless you count about 2 inches worth of dust and oil alive.

Warm climates

When I was down in the Caribbean there were lizards EVERYWHERE. If you left your door open they'd run in your room and you'd find them sitting on your TV or crawling on the ceiling. They like warm places. A server running a couple HD's and a beefy CPU fits that bill
