Found a perfect girl

So over this summer, I am taking a 5 day a week, 6 week class. The first day, this very nice looking blonde sits next to me and I immediately gave her the thumbs up. She needed some help with the math program we use and I of course helped out. She was very friendly and was always smiling and laughing, definlty gave a good vibe. Turns out she doesn't go to my school, she goes to Mcgill up in Montreal but is from VT. A couple of days into the class, she said "Hey you want to go to the libary after class" I figured why not and we went to do some work. Well no work got done and we ended up talking for about an hour. This continued for about a week, with no negative signs whatsoever, which I know was too good to be true. Then one day before class, some kid had a (insert vermont town) shirt on and she drops "Do you live there?, my boyfriend is from there" That same day, she asked if I wanted to do work after class and I agreed, and again nothing really got accomplished, we just sat and made small talk. I know for a fact that this guy is not around, because shes always working for now or in class. Since then, that was the only mention of a boyfriend. I have noticed that most girls tend to never shut up about their boyfriend, but this one hasnt said a damn thing, even when given a chance to make any sort of comment.. I know I should probaly just relax and let her do her thing, but a piece of me wants to find out if this boyfriend is on the way out. Its just tough to see someone like this slip away to never to be seen again.

Problems:
-Has a boyfriend or so it appears
-Will return to canada in like a month (limited time to work with anyway)

Just stick around and continue to do what you're doing. She obviously likes spending time with you. Don't ruin it and see what happens in this month before her departure.

Yep thats what I am figuring, I am going to play the nice guy for the next month of so. For example, her car broke down yesterday so I offered to bring her to work and did. Always willing to give extra help, although she really doesnt need any. She in general had a really crappy week, and I tried to help her make it better in general. I am just holding back from any moves right now because there was a boyfriend mentioned.

In my experience... a girlfriend away from her boyfriend is pretty easy to steal away from him... (unfortunately, I was the boyfriend back home. No, on 2nd thought, make that fortunately.) My ex from college mentioned a particular guy who was just friends with her.. just friends with her.. and, I believe she was telling the truth at the time. (It was easy to tell if she was lying - she cheated once on me and I could easily tell) Over the summer, we broke up. She went back to school and was engaged by the end of September - that guy knew he wanted her as a wife all along. Sooooo - there's hope for you. Pop the question next month... marry her before she gets away.
