I tried to buy another case on friday and the store owner came out and said he would only sell me 2. I was like well I'll buy the case for full price don't give me a case discount and he said it was a moral issue not a monetary issue. I said look pal I'm older and responsible than these little college kids. I'm not buying the case to drink by myself tonight. I'm buying it to store it for gradual consumption. After some more haggling I got him to sell me the whole case.

You clearly have no desire to experience the loko.

maybe I'm wrong about this, but I just don't see the four loko plowing me if I finished one in an hour. I really don't. I can get it and let you know, but I've for the most part quit drinking because like I stated earlier my whole GI tract hates it and fucks up my stomach the next day.

What you said was a Four Loko has a few beers worth of alcohol when in fact its about the equivalent of 5 light beers. I don't care to know how cool you are for pounding alcohol and how much you can handle, the fact remains that a Four Loko = 5 light beers.

Most drinkers would probably drink at least 2 Four Lokos, this puts the person at 10 drinks. Remember that this is equivalent to 10 shots/10 beers/10 glasses of wine, etc., its all similar. I don't see how much you can drink has any relevance to the alcohol content of a Four Loko.

Really, how can you ban this and not 151, everclear, etc. (I'm not advocating for that, just pointing out inconsistencies, I don't think it's governments business to regulate that, just to make sure they don't endanger other people).

I don't agree with the ban, but I can tell you why they may want to ban Four Loko.

-Cheap
-Easy to Drink
-Caffeinated
-Masks alcohol consumption

Cases are ~$28 around here.

My buddy claims that he had about 4.5 over the course of a whole gameday last saturday (8AM-Midnight when he passed out). Not sure if I believe quite that much, considering he had other things as well, but apparently he's giving up on 4loko now.

I had about 1.5 during the tailgate on Saturday, which left me in a weird state at 4:00 when I was sober, tired, and would usually nap for an hour or two. I was jittery as all hell and couldn't fall asleep though, so I just watched the OSU and VT games. Definitely prefer it at night when you can get drunk enough to not really feel the caffeine.
