Fox News now thinks low gas prices under Obama are bad

I watch FOX New for amusement. They are so over the top retarded that it is frankly funny. It is slightly frightening that there are knuckle dragging mouth breathers in America that buy their schtick.

FOX has managed to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality quite well IMO. It has managed to reach into the minds of those who are ignorant, those who want to live in fear and of those who believe that FOX is their last bastion of knowledge that supports their way of life. In this way FOX has created a loyal following of....."true believers".

It goes without saying that FOX represents much more than what they disseminate as "news and commentary". FOX provides emotional shelter and comfort for those who feel they are being/have been abandoned by the very country they feel love and loyalty for. In exchange for this, FOX gets to propagandize and reinforce this alliance, AND make tons of money for itself and the sponsors who profit from FOX's faithful viewers. One would be hard pressed to find a more successful symbiotic relationship than that.

It's a "biosphere" able to survive and flourish independently from the reality of the rest of the world. It's a money making machine that can hardly keep up with the demand for the snake oil they've got their viewers addicted to.

And it's a scientifically proven fact that the last person to realize/admit a person is addicted/afflicted is the addict himself. FOX knows this and exploits this factor with great financial success.

Simple experiment for the doubters. See if you get through the first 2 minutes of Forbe on Fox, Bulls and Bear, and one more (business show) on Sunday morning and not get unambiguos Obama bashing. I will guarantee you can't. Not sure why they're even billed as busness shows.

Predictable?? I would expect this kind of spin/lie from politicians but I thought Fox was a fair and balanced legitimate news organization?

Regardless of what Fox News says, dropping gasoline prices often is an indication of a bad economy (demand drops, therefore price drops, the demand dropped because the future looks bleak).

So what do you want? Falling gas prices often are a bad sign.

If it cost more to produce than the revenue from an item; you do not provide/make the item.

Oil production, auto production, insurance coverage, power generation, etc.

And this is why - when gasoline was $4 a gallon - Fox news didn't blame them on Obama. Instead, they stated that high oil prices were both a blessing and a curse.

E.g., if the price drops because a huge deposit is found it's (generally) not the President's policies etc that have caused the drop.

If the price drop is because US demand is down due to a worsening economy (s)he will be blamed.

Since the federal government has their hands in the U.S. energy production industry allowing the productions, yes, Obama's administration can be held responsible

And the slowing economies of Europe & China are partially because we are not doing enough with our economy, our international trade, to help our trade partners around the world, thus the policies of the U.S. can again be to blame
