Fox has 4x the audience of CNN and MSNBC combined so which ones are the fringe crazies?

People in this country love junk. Like Honey Boo-Boo and McDonalds.

Neither one makes you healthier or more educated. In survey after survey Fox News loyal viewers and been found to be the most misinformed. Wonder why??

In a recent survey, Fox News haters had been found to be the most illiterate. I don't wonder why. :whiste:

Fox News haters probably make up a very large portion of their audience. It feeds the "liberal" outrage machine.

The only poll I saw was that Fox news was Americas most trusted AND least trusted news network and that nobody gave two shits about CNN :awe:

Well, someone learned to read properly. DSF always ruining the fun.
I don't enjoy seeing people getting kicked when they're down...even if they don't realize it. That said, I will gladly make exceptions for the incredibly arrogant among us....but HomerJS isn't one of them.

Good, then we agree it's not a worsening economy.

I'm hearing the opposite. But I'm not referring to a US slowdown, but rather a global one. Last I heard Europe, specifically Germany, looked to be heading back into a recession.

Check these articles: https://www.google.com/search?q=ger...:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=fflb

There needn't be one reason for the change in oil/gas prices (or anything else), often it is a combination of different things.

If the global economy was doing really well and driving oil/gas prices higher do you think Saudi Arabia would still be trying to drive the price lower to stop competitors (fracking)? I don't. It wouldn't be possible to fight that 'tidal wave'. They'd probably be happy to 'profit take'. However, with prices already dropping they can just give it a nudge in that direction so it gets to the point they actually derive a benefit from falling prices (squeeze out competitors).

This is, in part, due to a global economic shift. Oil makes up 95% of Venezuela's exports, and the commodity has gotten absolutely crushed in the last month — down 28%...

In the meantime, Venezuela is already suffering from "dire food shortages." A lot of that food — along with other household goods — is imported, and the without cash from oil, the government will not be able to subsidize those imports, according to a report by research firm Stratfor.

"Default is the end game," said the bond trader. "Bonds trade down into the 20 cents on the dollar, then restructuring etc. but the default could cause political unrest."

Difficult to spin food shortages as good news. Difficult to spin default and political unrest as good news.

Hopefully, in the long run it will work out for the people of Venezuela. But in the short run, I don't see much good news for them.

I can't blame him directly for making prices high. I can blame him for doing nothing about it, however. More accurately, I can blame him for creating an environment that would do nothing but keep them high.

I wish we could use rail for sensible things, like food. But alas, we are forced to tie up our rail resources to move oil. So we end up paying more for both. So stupid.

Then again, his plan is to make energy prices skyrocket. I don't see why its not OK to question that.

But Biff, they are blaming Obama for LOW gas Prices, not High.
