More like many people realize that just because the government has lied, doesn't mean that everything they say is a lie, and that individual events should be taken in their own context, and judged based on their own merits.

A more accurate statement would be that conspiracy theorist have a mental block when it comes to our establishment, and events that are politically significant, and no matter what actual physical evidence exist they still cling to loony far fetched theories that could not possible explain events without suspending all reality.
