My skepticism concerning September 11th conspiracies is based on two factors:
First, the extreme improbability of the Bush administration managing to cover up an operation of that scope as effectively as would be required for the paucity of evidence of said conspiracy.
Second, the apparent ignorance of most "Truthers", i.e. the appalling majority of theorists who insist that the wings of a 757 would have ripped through the reinforced concrete walls of the Pentagon, or who insist that a modestly skilled pilot would have been unable to fly into a target the size of the Pentagon or the Twin Towers (for just two examples).

I missed the show, but can state it has been well established that there were possible links between the alQaeda conspirators and members of the Saudi government and/or the royal family. I suppose it is also possible that the Bush administration glossed over evidence of those links in the interest of protecting our "allies" in Saudi Arabia. It's like in this other thread when I posted a video of a guy cutting steel with thermite. I said nothing about thermite being used on 9-11. I was just posting the video because debunkers had claimed to debunk thermites ability to cut through steel... and yet here is this guy out in the woods proving that in fact you can use thermite to cut steel.
But then I was met with insults and people saying... but how thick was the steel ?! etc, nobody actually just taking the video at face value and accepting that thermite can cut through steel.
