I prefer actual photographic evidence instead of some guy on the Internet repeating a press report.... even if he has a cool Gus Fring picture on his profile

Don't forget that Connecticut had tried (and failed) to ban "assault" style weapons several times before this, so getting this ban enacted was considered to be a major win for the Democratic party in this state. Obama even tried to use it as a rally point for national legislation.

Why on Earth would you want "photographic evidence" of dead first graders? I can't imagine anything more sad than that. As I said, all the victims were shot with Lanza's Bushmaster AR-15 - http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout...-victims-died-multiple-gunshot-211722237.html

Why do you think there's reason to suspect the official story...? You some kind of crazy paranoid person or what?

Why do you think there is no reason to suspect the official story? Are you some kind of spineless automaton who simply believes and does whatever his government commands?

Present your evidence to the contrary, and we will analyze what the neighbor's dog told you about the supposed cover up.

Look, government can't be simultaneously completely inept and diabolically crafty. Pick one and go with it. Government can't build a website with $600M without having launch day glitches but they can keep conspiracies of the magnitude of 9/11 and now the Newtown shootings under complete lockdown.

To assign a single descriptor to something as bloated and massive as the Federal government is not accurate in this sense. The parts that get plenty of funding (NSA, CIA, US Military) do very well at keeping anything they want highly secret. That doesn't make them moral, trustworthy, or any other positive thing, just loaded with cash and sneaky.

LOL +1 I was thinking the exact same thing.

I'm going with diabolically inept.

Um, this would be the same parts of government who decided Mr/Ms Bradley/Loretta Manning was an excellent security risk, correct? I'm not buying it. Keep secret a ridiculous plan never executed, maybe - maybe. Keep secret an executed mass murder? Not buying it. This requires that many people simultaneously be highly competent, incredibly secretive, and thoroughly evil, that they make zero mistakes in judgement, that no one has second thoughts or attacks of conscience or find Jesus.

Hey now... don't confuse a federal government issue like healthcare.gov with a state/local level government issue like Sandy Hook. Trust me... Connecticut does a much better job of running a socialist nanny state than the rest of the country does. Not that we should be proud of that, but they do. We've been practicing for decades before Obama showed up.

I live in CT and was born and raised here. CT is pure awesomesauce except for gun control. Characterizing us as socialist nanny state is pathetic.

Really? Do you like paying higher taxes than the rest of the country, including paying property tax on your car? I don't! How about having to pay almost twice as much for a house than the national average? Do you enjoy THAT?

Sorry... but after living in a "free" state like Pennsylvania, Connecticut is kinda lame. And, YES, I would move if I had the option to.

Property tax on your car is a credit you can deduct from your CT income tax.

If you want to live in the best state in the nation you are going to have to pay more. That is how life works. I have tons of money left over after taxes.

All the NYC big shots and hedge fund managers live in Fairfield County which has an enormous cost of living and isn't even anything special, the rest of the state is an even bigger borefest without any of the big money.

But I get it, it's a very strategic location with the Metro-North line taking you into the city in 45 minutes to an hour. If that wasn't meaningful in my life, I would say get the hell out of there.

I can be in NYC or Boston in less than 2 hours while being able to live in a quiet suburb with such a low crime rate that my town doesn't even have a police station. If I didn't care about the quality of the public schools I could move 5 miles down the road and get the same house for half price and less than half the property taxes.
