Fox News screws single women?

I caught a little bit of the Fox News crusade to demonize single women.
Seems Fox News wanted to explain why married women voted for Romney and single women voted for Obama.

Simpley put they say married women care about America and its future. Single women want free birth control.

I guess the Right Wing just doesn't know how to stop themselves.

I don't make milions of dollars a year putting on a cable news network and I can come up with better answers off the top of my head in 5 seconds.

Single women are younger. Young people voted for Obama for reasons such as they have a belief in science, less of them are fundamentalist Christians, the don't fear gay marriage, etc.
I can also deduce that married women includes a greater percentage of older Americans since the percentage of married women is far higher amongst that population. Older people tend to fear and hate gays, hispanics and black people, etc.

So, Fox News spend the day insulting unmarried woman as not caring about the future of America and only wanting free birth control.

Definitely the way to attract younger single women to the Republican party, wouldn't you say?

The Baby Boomers and their Nazipublican party are not long for this world. They are being outnumbered by even greater amounts with each passing day and their stranglehold on this country, and in part on this world, will be remembered from father to son in many generations as the single element that drove this country from being the best in the world to being a mediocre first world power with regard to most everything outside of military might.

The thing that should scare them the most is this movement isn't a bunch of hippies carrying peace signs, it is a bunch of Rage Against the Machine fans who have been playing simulated war games for over a decade now. If I were a "job creator" Nazipublican, I would probably be shitting myself right now. The sad thing is they brought it all on themselves, too. The next generation in line, Gen X, grew up believing in America and the leaders who ran it and now they see it for what it really is. A huge Ponzi scheme meant to enslave the have-nots in order to add yet another zero onto an already gigantic bank statement.

Things are about to start changing in a major way in this country, and it's going to happen a lot faster than you think. I, for one, welcome the 21st century and look forward to the repeal of such freedom stealing laws as the Patriot Act, Drug War, and on and on and on....

I had the same reaction with the right wing spin "black people get free stuff" and that's why they voted for Obama. The party of personal responsibility can't admit their policies and attitudes are out of step with the country so they blame others. Meanwhile the CEC/Fox News continues to carry their water.

The problem would cease to exist. You don't see people complaining about having their aspirin subsidized do you?

Neither right nor left feel this way though. Government exists to solve problems, yet it is the main cause of every problem. Too bad the snake grows at a faster rate than it is able to cannibalize itself, leaving the rational libertarian/anarchists looking like fools because we are the only ones that can see the snake for what it is, while pro-government people just focus on it's mouth and trying to increase the rate at which it feeds.

The better question is why a prescription is required for them? Are they really that dangerous?

Defense can be provided for privately. Conquest? Not so much, that requires government's special touch, taxation enforced by threatening aggression against those under its rule.

Had you bothered to look that divorced women also voted heavily for Obama, you might have reconsidered making this thread.

IMO, it's a combination of the above factors. Yes, single women are usually younger, and the younger people voted for Obama. But there is also a point to be made that younger people are usually poorer and would benefit the most from government handouts.
