Foxconn has been making stuff for years. They were primarily an OEM before, but they've recently started selling direct to customers. Their stuff was whitelabeled as another company's product, so you never knew it was theirs.

Being in Austin, where I went to school, I've heard that Foxconn is Dell's largest supplier. Essentially, you can look at it this way. Dell is really just a marketing company selling Foxconn made products.

plus 2 of my old roommates work there now and get free left-over, test parts...like a free Radeon 9800 Pro...b@st@rds...they work heavily in the Dell supply-chain and procurement process, so all they can tell me about is how great their manufacturing processes in China are

finally, another board that give you at least 3 usable pci slots with a big video card cooler installed. This is one ugly mobo, IMO. This one and the MSI Neo4 Ultra have 4 PCI slots and at least 3 usable.

Zim, dont take Foxconn so ligthly, they been in computer parts for years, building OEM boards for the big brand companies, you wont be surprise to open a old pentiumIII and find one of their boards....sometimes I look the plastics of the motherboards selling around and I can find the name. Looks like all OEM companies are making boards now for the regular builders, one exemple is DFI with the Lan Party, the whole market is changing FIC the first company to make and Athon board is out , but I saw one board with ATI chipset couple days ago.....

Yup. I have a Foxconn TH1 case and aside fromt he side window it matches a Dell OEM box we have at work.

If you guys notice, the Foxconn boards carry the WinFast silkscreening label, which is a trademark of LeadTeks. Don't know if Foxconn bought the rights, but they were manufacturering motherboards with Leadtek.

The $99 board at Monarch is one of their Non-Ultra version. The board in the first post is their ULTRA version.

Foxconn owns Leadtek. My buddy who works there just came back from China over the xmas break and told me that they just bought them.

i work for foxconn, the one in houston. But we manufacture mobo's for HP servers only.

foxconn was a Intel OEM only years ago.
