Being in Austin, where I went to school, I've heard that Foxconn is Dell's largest supplier. Essentially, you can look at it this way. Dell is really just a marketing company selling Foxconn made products.
plus 2 of my old roommates work there now and get free left-over, test parts...like a free Radeon 9800 Pro...b@st@rds...they work heavily in the Dell supply-chain and procurement process, so all they can tell me about is how great their manufacturing processes in China are
