That's what you get for voting Republican. No federal bailout for Wisconsin. Let their idiot taxpayers eat those billions by themselves.
I must say that I for one am glad that slowspyder posts here. His posts allow me to see just what right wing nuts are thinking without having to visit a single right wing website.
I'm not following this thread but I find it amazing that Republicans have now resorted to trumps primary political tactic and to outright lie and I'm not talking about things like crowd sizes or how "awesome" the tax cuts have been and how "great" the economy is doing because of trump. They are outright lying about their actual voting records and actually running ads where they stare into the camera and lie about their voting record, specifically with regards to voting to get rid mandatory coverage for pre existing conditions and cutting government provided health care (Medicare, Medicade, and even social security).
I wish I could say that if they win their races I would be shocked but honestly I won't be.
Do you want your state to give a few billion to Chinese companies too? Vote Republican and make it happen. So basically you don't do any research, you rely on a poster in AT P&N to get the full picture of what's going on in the world around you. I think I've spotted your problem...
To be fair, a lot of Wisconsinites have hated this Foxconn deal from the start... It was never a good deal to start off with and just gets worse.
Let's see how they react at the polls.

Congrats. Hopefully new leadership serves your state better, the bar is pretty lowI never voted for Walker once. I always boo'ed him as he walked by my house in the yearly 4th of July parade (same with Sheriff Clarke). I didn't ask for this FoxCon crap.Too many rural areas up north and out west love Scooter. He better not win today...
At this point it seems Walker has gone down.

Research? You mean I don't go to bullshit websites who peddle in fake news? Yeah I don't do that and as I said I don't need to, I've got you to regurgitate all the bullshit they are spewing.
However, when it comes to researching actual facts, I like to use a myriad of websites with a history of credibility and accuracy. You should try it sometime, if you didn't you'd probably stop coming off as a troll and a brainless parrot
Foxconn Technology Group, which has begun work on a planned $10 billion manufacturing and research complex in Wisconsin, is looking to slash its corporate expenses in 2019, the news organization Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Citing an internal company memo, Bloomberg said Taiwan-based Foxconn wants to cut $2.9 billion in expenses and eliminate about 10 percent of non-technical staff amid the prospect of “a very difficult and competitive year.”
The report follows widespread concerns about softening demand for iPhones, the main product of Apple Inc., which is by far Foxconn’s most important customer.
A contract manufacturer with vast operations in China, Foxconn assembles the iPhone and other tech devices. Foxconn's financial filings show that a single customer – unnamed in the filings but widely believed to be Apple – accounted for 51% of Foxconn’s 2017 revenue of more than $150 billion.

Responding by email to Bloomberg’s inquiries about the cost-cutting plans, Foxconn said that its review for 2019 “is no different than similar exercises carried out in past years to ensure that we enter into each new year with teams and budgets that are aligned with the current and anticipated needs of our customers, our global operations and the market and economic challenges of the next year or two.”
That's if the Foxcon plant even gets built now, these Iphones are not cheap and it seems more people are happy with models from the last few years. Now the Unemployed in Wisconsin have jobs making suicide proof nets to look forward to....

Foxconn Technology Group is reconsidering plans to make advanced liquid crystal display panels at a $10 billion Wisconsin campus, and said it intends to hire mostly engineers and researchers rather than the manufacturing workforce the project originally promised.
Now, those plans may be scaled back or even shelved, Louis Woo, special assistant to Foxconn Chief Executive Terry Gou, told Reuters. He said the company was still evaluating options for Wisconsin, but cited the steep cost of making advanced TV screens in the United States, where labor expenses are comparatively high.
Earlier this month, Foxconn, a major supplier to Apple Inc., reiterated its intention to create 13,000 jobs in Wisconsin, but said it had slowed its pace of hiring. The company initially said it expected to employ about 5,200 people by the end of 2020; a company source said that figure now looks likely to be closer to 1,000 workers.
It is unclear when the full 13,000 workers will be hired.
Rather than manufacturing LCD panels in the United States, Woo said it would be more profitable to make them in greater China and Japan, ship them to Mexico for final assembly, and import the finished product to the United States.
He said that would represent a supply chain that fits with Foxconn’s current “fluid, good business model.”
Fuck you Scott Walker. Fuck you to hell.
What a fucking travesty for my state.
