It's funny that Republicans keep telling us that states are laboratories of democracy, but they are not eager to share results of their failed experiments or learn from them. Kansas failed supply side experiment, Wisconsin failed corporate hand out experiment, all have a lot of lessons.

Wisconsin failed the corporate handout experiment? The Foxconn site hasn't even opened yet, and you know the impact to the state, positive or negative, it will make? Quite the crystal ball you have.

I think its actually that they "were super liberal" and they "totally aren't for Turmp", but "he's starting to say stuff that makes sense to me" which is no joke an almost by the book method that white supremacists use to try and manipulate people.

The thing that sucks is knowing their methods actually can work.

No, but thinking there is good reasoning behind secure borders, wanting people to work for a living, and parents not wanting their seven year old daughters pissing in the restroom next to the confused cross dresser that's waiting out his boner to take a piss doesn't sound so illogical. Since Trump won, watching the left behave how they have is probably what flipped me more than anything. Watching the tantrum throwers silence free speech (ironically at colleges most of the time, where one's thoughts should be challenged to help people learn to think, but it seems they'd rather indoctrinate now) and act like spoiled brats that can't handle not getting their way really cemented things. Liberals used to be for individuality, free thought, challenging the status quo. Now they are the real fascists today. They violently react to anything that isn't part of their ideology. I'm glad America rejected them and that my eyes have been opened. My walk away was very real, and the liberals only have themselves to blame for losing my vote and before that states that they could count on in the past. Maybe they'll win me back one day, but in their current state of vile, hate filed basement dweller types being the loudest of voices, nope.

The deal is so bad that nobody reputable will defend the economics. The public subsidy, all in, is closing in on $300K per job.

Foxconn is now talking about wanting commuter rail (at their site) to Chicago because guess where they think their employees will come from. LOL.

This is preposterous, even for you. I mean not even a person high on paint thinner would believe this is genuine.

I'm being 100% honest and genuine. From my perspective, the left has become the new conservatives. They are the ones today that hold on to outdated ideas and try to use law to push their version of morality on to people. They are the ones that silence free thought and free speech today. They are the ones that dismiss logic for feelings. Sorry, but the left are now the outdated thinkers holding on to bad ideas of the past.

to top it off, this is a cash deal, not a tax break and if foxconn backs out at some point guess who gets holding the bag.

Yes, the left has read "Art of the Deal" and know that to have a deal there needs to be commitments and time frames and it needs to be written plus an expectation to actually get something out of the deal.
republican Governors tend the craft very shot term deals that don't actually do much. For a group of people to spout so much crap about understanding business, they sure don't seem to understand business.

How is it outdated to believe that LGBT people deserve rights and respect, which Trump and the Republicans are trying to take away?

How is it outdated to actively condemn and prevent racist attacks, instead of fostering them like Trump and the Republicans do?

How is it outdated to believe in reproductive freedom and responsible sexuality, instead of trying to turn the clock back to 1950 like Trump and the Republicans want?

You can lie all you want (and everyone here knows you're lying), but it doesn't change the absolute truth that the Republicans are the ones trying to hold on to bad ideas.

Hey buddy, we are still waiting for you to provide links to the posts you claim exist about your previous life as a liberal.

Any ETA on that?

me and the other 5.5M residents of Wisconsin. (and likley the next generation as well).
Meanwhile, Scooter (after hopefully losing this election cycle) will go on to a lucrative lobbying gig and move out of state. Fuck him.

Version of morality? How about any morals. The conservatives have given up the façade.

Yeah, the left has outdated ideas like not paying $300K of their taxpayer money per job.

these kinds of deals never pay off in the end for the state/local and they never seem to learn.

You misunderstand their purpose. It's similar to the corporate CEOs making a merger/purchase for what appears to be (and is) a ridiculously high price. The CEO makes his money off the stock price bump and incentives in his contract caused by the merger. He bails out before the negative fallout happens.

Politicians work the same way-they make these "deals" with your money, a grateful public votes them up into higher office before the public realizes how badly they have been fleeced.

Walker's main mistake is that he failed to cash in and move on in time. But extra Trump points to him for taking a 180 degree spin on this deal once more and more voters are beginning to realize how bad it is.

A majority of the right is FOR LGBT rights, such as being able to marry. The difference between us and you is this. I don't care how one lives their life, if a guy with a giant schlong likes to dress up as a woman and names himself "Mandy", I say more power to him, find liberty however you'd like as long as you're not harming the rights of others. The left however supports things like fining or even jailing someone for calling people the wrong pronoun.

The left are the new racists and are the side that pushes the only socially acceptable form of racism. They've pushed affirmative action through, and what's really fun is whenever they defend it, they sound exactly how you'd expect racists to sound defending their racist practices... And that's just the anti-white racism. Not even touching on how the left interjects race into everything to create racism where there is none.

I don't know what you are getting at by claiming the left wants "reproductive freedom". You'll have to elaborate there. And I am not lying, I think the evangelical left have become the new conservative party, holding on to bad ideas and as I've said, forcing their version of morality on the masses just like the christians used to do. You have been the mainstream so long you are no longer the counter culture, the new counter culture is rising, Trump was a sign of this.

When talking about the caravan today, trump mentioned that we needed legal immigrants to fill jobs being created in the US by companies like Foxconn.

That sounds like the exact opposite of reality. Heck, didn't Trump want to ban transgender people from the military? Can you point me to right-leaning articles stating this viewpoint?
