1) Not at all, just President of the United States.
2)What's surreal? The House is free to impeach him with a floor vote and follow precedent.
3) When? I must have missed it and if so he should be impeached.
4) I'm sure in your world you would disbar any lawyer who writes something you don't like. Good thing it's not up to you.

I don’t understand this. Why have a vote before it’s been investigated? Sort of like having the jury pool vote for guilt or innocence before the trial.
If the President wants to speed it up for whatever reason all he has to do is admit he leaned on Ukraine to find dirt on an opponent. Just blab it out during a presser or better yet tweet it.

Says who? Nancy Pelosi? Guess what it's not up to the Speaker of the House, but the whole House of Representatives.

That's not true at all. The Speaker of the House is free to establish whatever procedure they choose. She is the voice of the majority. There is no Constitutional requirement to the contrary. The SCOTUS wouldn't touch Trump's proposition with a pole.

Dancing on the head of a procedural pin is a futile gesture. A writ of impeachment delivered to the Senate is self validating.

Without a floor vote there is no impeachment. There's no such thing as faux impeachment lite. If they have probable cause they should impeach.

If conservatives care about following the Constitution they will force Trump to comply with the House’s requests. After all in order to know what to impeach him on they need to investigate his conduct.

This is common sense to any person who is even remotely objective or not being paid. If conservatives like their political sports team more than the Constitution that won’t be surprising though as it was abundantly obvious they were lying when they claimed to care about the Constitution to begin with.

I guess we'll have to see what the Courts say about it. I'm a patient man, i can wait 13 months for a decision.

Yeah, it must be hell to actually follow the Constitution. If he "handed the Dems everything they need" what are they waiting for? Nah, McConnell just has to have a straight vote in the Senate and Trump will be voted not guilty and the GOP Senators will look like the partisan hacks they are.
FTFY.

This is about controlling the narrative. The Nixon and Clinton inquiries had a House vote to build momentum.

No, they didn’t. They only voted on articles of impeachment after months and months of other investigations. Once the House votes on articles of impeachment that’s basically it for them so they need to make them as strong as possible. The House needs to start utilizing its inherent contempt powers immediately. Start fining executive branch officials who do not appear and if they still don’t then start arresting them.

This is not a game and Trump will never comply because he doesn’t give a shit if the government burns down around him as he’s never cared about anything other than himself. Democrats need to realize that allowing them to refuse documents and testimony just emboldens them.

Without looking into or verifying anything how do you know what to impeach him for?
I just don’t understand the logic as to why you’d vote to convict someone before any trial or evidence has been gathered. Makes no damn sense.

Except i'm happy because the majority of Senators are Republicans. You're sad because the majority of House partisan hacks are Democrats and I know it takes a SUPERMAJORITY of Senators to oust President Trump.
So you are saying that you are HAPPY that the senate's majority is comprised of partisan hacks as stated, who care more about following lines and keeping their seats, than they do about serving the American people? Interesting viewpoint.

Incidentally, Pat Cipollone, the lawyer who signed the letter, graduated from Covington Catholic High School, home of the smug-faced brats who made asses of themselves at the anti-women march in Washington back in January. The ultra-right is a small world.

The Democrats have been talking impeaching President Trump for years in this forum, haven't they figured it out by now?

The impeachment process can't be stopped by a lawsuit. The courts have no jurisdiction, quite by design of the Constitution.

It’s weird how these guys have so little understanding of even basic aspects of the Constitution.

Impeachment is whatever the House says it is. The courts and the president have no say.

How you hope to settle the issue without the Courts or the Administration I have no idea. Perhaps little blue enforcer monkeys can fly out of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's ass and force everyone in Washington DC to do her bidding? Cross your fingers, maybe it will happen.

Well they need to do something because the narrative of “Ukraine will finally bury him” is quickly changing to “Trump calls Pelosi’s bluff”. Scan every major media outlet website, and the headlines are, as always, focused on what Trump is doing.
