Democrats need to understand that, if they are to proceed with impeachment it will require taking action to start throwing people in jail. And that risks an escalation to potentially even violence. This is the choice that Trump is forcing them into, sooner or later. Unless the intent is to give up, sooner is better.

Precedent says a vote must be taken on the floor and arrangements must be made with the Minority party in the House. Even if the House does vote how would you know which and how many members are actually going to vote for an impeachment until it happens? It then goes to the Senate and requires 67 votes to remove President Trump. Not going to happen unless there's some massive crime I haven't heard about.
