PSA: Only the last two seasons are in HD, they were shot that way. The rest were shot on video and theres no point in trying to convert.

Cheers was shot on film and all episodes are now in HD

Apparently they were borderline alcoholics and got disinvited from all future SAG award shows because of drunkedness.

They also talked about how David Hyde Pierce won over Phil Hartmann at an Emmy show after Phil Hartmann died... kind of awkward... David Hyde Pierce was incredibly embarrassed.

Kelsey Grammar was involved in a lot of the aspects of the show. Based on his neurotic character, it wouldn't surprise me if he actually was like that in real life. Pile a drug addiction on top of that and I'm sure he wasn't a great guy to work with, although the show is hilarious.

I got the DVD's a while back, they look considerably better.
