Really? I didn't know that. The ESPN commentators didn't mention it at all!

Good game, France played very well, but there were a LOT of horrible calls by the ref.

Zindane was insane. First time I've seen brazil's speed nullified by such good ball control.

I agree, great game, had brazil gone into attack 5 mintues earlier it probably would have been tied, but they were outplayed 80% of the match. They got so many oppertunities durring the last 5 mintues I was amazed they couldnt put one on target. But I turned it off when Ronaldinho was i nthe 18, got around a player and was called for a foul. Sorry if I missed it in real tiem or the 3 replays but it was a good move. I still have no idea what the call was besides garbage.
But Zidane was fantastic. I have no problem with france winning and an fully aware that there were many bad calls agaisnt france, like Ronaldo falling and drawing a card. But To take away the best oppertunity the may have had all night for a 50/50 challenge where ronaldinho got by the defender is the second worse call of the whole Cup (Next to the Red in the US v. Italy game for the ankle tackle).
Ref heres a , now run along and never call another game.

Glad I didn't put any money into this World Cup, or any football matches for that matter.

No , more like only showing up the last 1/8 of the last world cup game. If Brazil attacked like they did the 75th mintue on for the whole game, this would have been a blow out going the other way. :disgust:

That's the thing though. Brazil couldn't attack. France shut them out, and stopped them cold at almost every turn.

Yeah, the last five minutes was FULL of attacks by Brazil. Like you said, had they started their real attack a few minutes early, the outcome likely wouldn't have been the same.
