Don't do this. Just sign up for their newsletter.. under one ID (email1 ) and then sign up under another (email2)using the original ID (email1) as the referer.

If you try to use it more than once.. and someone will.. the next person after the first and everyone else will not get the discount.. and you 'agree' to this in the conditions.

But on a sidenote.. I just got some of the stuff.. really expensive 'toys' for remote control. Having problems with 50% of the shipment as they work on and off. I need to spend time troubleshooting things.

Are x10 products any good? I've got spams for the last four months. Yet, never bought anythings from them. It seems they have a good ad though.

I'm sure I'll be happy once I work out the problems but basically...

You have hand held remotes to control devices via their modules. One special module has an antenna which picks up the hand helds radio signals to tell the remote modules to go off/on.

Then there is a computer programe with a special module you can program schedules in.


1. Tech response for help is poor. I never got an email back.
2. I have 1/2 of the modules not working at times.. sometimes they all fail to respond. I cannot figure this out yet. One wall module outside light fails constantly and sometimes the wrong items come on. I'm using a combo hand held, key remote and plain hand held unit. I was told by a friend who has them I need to work it out to find out what's happening.. right..
3. Expensive clappers come to mind. $13 for a module is high when they can blow it out for $4 on sale. There's a high profit.. ie.. I wonder how the quality will be long term.


Basically.. I've gotten lazy with this remote. Getup and turn the lights off yourself and save the $30-$100 investment. But its a neat toy when fully functional as described. I'm 50/50 on it right now...
